Glimbook ("Service") values your privacy. This policy applies to both Glimbook and Glimbook Kids apps.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and profile name. This is used solely for Google Drive backup/restore functionality.

App Data: Documents, analysis results, and learning progress are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to our servers.

API Keys: AI API keys you enter are stored only in your device's secure storage.

2. How We Use Information

Document backup and restore via Google Drive
Subscription authentication (for subscribers only)

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We interact with external services only in these cases:

Google Drive API: Accessed only when you explicitly initiate backup/restore
AI Analysis: Text analysis requests sent to AI services you configure (BYO-API model)
RevenueCat: Subscription status verification (for subscribers only)

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Glimbook Kids is designed for children. We:

Do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
Do not display advertisements in the app
Do not use children's data for marketing purposes
Store all learning data locally on the device only
Assume Google Sign-In is managed by a parent or guardian

5. Data Storage and Security

All app data is stored locally on your device. Google Drive backup files are stored in your personal Google Drive and do not pass through our servers.

6. Your Rights

Data Deletion: Uninstalling the app automatically deletes all local data
Backup Deletion: You can delete backup files directly from Google Drive
Account Unlinking: You can disconnect your Google account from within app settings

7. Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Glimbook's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
